Truck names in game

Hi,

Is the brand who decides the name of their trucks in game, or is a decision 100% from SCS? Or a mix of boths?

The question comes to my mind because, for example, in case of the new DAF its name is "DAF 2021"... quite generic and no reference to XF or XG. Instead, the old E6 is named "DAF XF" but i think it would more precise "DAF XF Euro 6", same as they did with MAN:

So, it could be:

DAF XF -> DAF XF Euro 6
DAF 2021 -> DAF XF/XG Next Gen (or something like that)

If its a brand decision, then nothing can be done i guess. But if its SCS decision, then i'd suggest that.

If you first pick the DAF 2021 you can then choose if it will be a XF, XG or XG+. The difference is in cabin height and depth

So i think that's why they named it so generic

This points to a bigger question, some of the names of older trucks in game are anachronistic; e.g. FH Classic or New Actros.

I suggest it would be better if each truck model available had the model year as a prefix in the in-game model name?
