brand, engine, gearbox match.

I started playing ETS2 with the real automatic gearbox, but since a long while ago, I switched to a real H pattern style, using a MAN modified knob with range and splitter.

after a while I realized that each (almost) brand has their own gearbox, and they are not available to each engine or model. I then found myself using an incorrect gearbox to some trucks model, like a manual on a Renault T or such.

is there a place to check which brand/model has the option to have a manual gearbox and to which engine can be matched? even though this is just a game, I would like to stay as close as possible to a real life situation and not having a mixed up combination of model, engine, gearbox.

note: I'm now using also a series of mod by galimim (from the steam workshop), that adds more engine and transmission to each brands according to real models.
