Nice 3D rendition of this Explorer model, has some functionality with a modest powertrain and is overall very appropriate for comfortable long distance travel.

Here I am using a mod for an invisible trailer, made to be used to carry small ammounts of cargo in drivable vehicles with no trailer (such as cars). Works well enough, but at highway speeds there is noticable jitter due to the weight of the load and distribution. I think it would be interesting to create such functionality natively for your vehicles, if at all possible.

There are issues, the windshield rain texture is poorly mapped (appearing too small in the middle of the window), the other windows have no rain texture, the camera is oddly low when rotated (notice how high the seats are when looking back at the interior), the symbols on the driver display (handbrake, indicators, lights) are near invisible at night, and the display could use more functionality, but that's true for all the mods.

Would like to see the latest generation Explorer at some point. The Expedition, too.
