Re: Indiana Discussion Thread
Wonder if it'll be marked, and if maybe we'll get SR 46 continuing to the area of SE IN between Cincinnati and Louisville to fill out the state (particularly if it's coming stand-alone). Maybe it'll turn into SR 7 and take us all the way to Madison to sit in between those two cities on the IN side?

Hey don’t forget Fort Wayne
There a Tire factory plant that is off of US-24
At the state line Ind/OH the first exit off of US-24 and Ind-101
There a love truckstop there
GM plant that is off of I-69/469 interchange it on the south
side of fort wayne
They also have a few truckstop too as well
There also an engine/transmission plant on US-31
Just north off Indianapolis off of I-465/US-31 north
and a few distribution centers
Someone that mention about layfette
I know there an Rivan auto factory plant off of I-65 and ind-26
I would like too see SCS add a brand new engine depot perhaps
I know we got AI Automotive that could represent or just add
it in the game it could be possible right
There a coal plant in Indianapolis
Also over on I-74 in Greenville ind there a honda plant
On I-64 in princeston ind there also a Toyota plant
Also in Gary Ind there also two steel mills there
In the southeastern corner of Indiana they can add
Lawrenceburg ind there two truckstop a dealership
They can add coal power station and used faraday Energy as a depot there
For the nuclear power plant
It off of ind-1 between I-74 and I-275

Re: Indiana Discussion Thread
So, just drove eastbound thru most of Indiana on I-70/-465 today, I will say the Welcome Center/Rest Area going into the state from Illinois will be interesting, as it features stuff for the Indy 500 and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, not sure how much SCS can recreate for ATS due to licensing, but its a pretty nice place to stop.

Re: Indiana Discussion Thread
That must be pretty new; there isn't any Streetview there, and the GMaps satellite imagery shows it under construction. That's for sure a unique rest area.
I hope we'll get the IMS itself, just for fun. At the very least I'm sure it'll be scenic, maybe visible from roads leading to that Allison transmission plant nearby, or pushed right next to the freeway (however the Interstate layout of Indianapolis is going to be done). Being able to drive in the thing itself would be even better, and could be a big selling point, especially with PRT bringing sports and muscle cars.
Realistically, I'm not going to expect it, because that speedway is huge, and Indianapolis already has a lot going on, unlike tracks like Talladega and Daytona, which can use empty areas; maybe a scaled-down representation of it would be doable, but at 1:1, how large would it appear on the game map?

Re: Indiana Discussion Thread
They could make a fictional oval racetrack on the outskirts of Indianapolis that either mimics IMS or otherwise, but yeah it would be cool to see something like that considering the emphasis they put on Motor Racing in Indiana.
And some people will definitely be racing with PRT cars once it comes out, so why not create a racetrack lol.

Allison plant might, maybe... get in, but, I do not expect to see Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
One map grid 4x4km, could contain 3x5 Indianapolis Motor Speedways.
Indiana, is mostly 3 map grids wide. If it would been rotated a little bit to follow the grid lines.

Re: Indiana Discussion Thread
I wonder if it's possible to add Amish Buggies on the roads in the AI traffic? It's part of the culture of states such as Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania.
They can often be seen on roads where there are also road signs warning drivers about the movement of buggies and there is also a historical route.
And also Buggies looks nice, like time travellers from the past:

Re: Indiana Discussion Thread
I assume they can be programmed similar to farm equipment , where they are slow moving traffic that come and go off blocked off roads.
Only thing is will SCS allow people to hit horses....kind of the same issues with motorcycles.

They might make the entire model impervious to visible damage, janky as that is.Killer-Of-Night wrote: 08 Apr 2026 22:30 I assume they can be programmed similar to farm equipment , where they are slow moving traffic that come and go off blocked off roads.
