Yeah, I'm not trying to attack them or anything. They were just the first post that came to my mind once I saw the event was cleared haha.JoeAlex23 wrote: 01 Nov 2024 02:02 Comments that didn't age well
But that user later admitted they got the date wrong.

Re: Arkansas Discussion Thread
Well it looks like SCS might have to make some minor changes to this DLC in the coming months. US-67/167, the freeway in game that travels from I-40 in North Little Rock to US-63 and US-412 in Hoxie, just west of Jonesboro has now been designated as I-57 which will eventually travel from Little Rock to Chicago. Thankfully all that needs to change is the signage on and pointing to the freeway but hopefully SCS are aware of this.

Already? I thought that it was going to take a few more years before they designated US-67/US-167 as an Interstate, and I think I suggested it may be I-57 due to it's proximity to the path of it in Missouri and Illinois before. But that's good to hear the DOT in Arkansas admitted it as an Interstate, it should've already been considered one.

I looked up google maps by myself and I saw the I-57 sign from I-40 north of Little rock starting to the junction at Walnut Ridge with US-412 and US-67:

Re: Arkansas Discussion Thread
Pity that the signs in Google Maps are not yet replaced with I-57 overlay sign near the US-67 and US-167 sign:

and the signs right on the shoulders are not replaced with an I-57 shield on top:

Re: Arkansas Discussion Thread
Assuming that everything goes to plan for connecting I-57 from Walnut Ridge to Missouri's soon-to-be expanded I-57, there could be an in-game rework in 2028 or near that of the areas in the two states where I-57 is. But knowing how lax some states (like Arkansas) are on road projects, it might not happen.

Re: Arkansas Discussion Thread
Hello, yesterday i was doing some local deliveries on the Hot Springs area to discover all the interesting industries there and i've noticed that there are no rest stops on the area and when you need to sleep you end up doing trips of more than 100 milles just to find a rest stop.

Would be nice to have a rest stop in Hot Springs and ideally more than one in that area, The Namiq, the Chuck and Jacks and the Grand Pastures could even benefict from having a rest stop each on the prefab, since the prefabs are far from the main road and are big prefabs taking more time than normal to unload, reload and leave the area (specially the Chuck and Jacks with all the gravel roads).
Also the Page & Price paper have a Gas Station and a Repair service just in front but you can't sleep there, would be nice if SCS can add rest area there also.
I don't know what you guys think or if you ended in the same situation, I know many are gonna say that the problem is that i've didn't planed my routes well but doing local deliveries in that area is imposible to plan a rest stop without deviating a lot from the route and arriving late for the delivery.
And I feel that the area need rest stops because is a nice area to play as local driver like, carring logs from the forest to the paper mill(Very enjoyable now with the unloading animations), or rocks from the quarry to the construction site on Hot Springs, or Food from the farm to the Hot Springs supermarket.
