So I've forgotten that Hunting Unlimited exists, but it randomly popped back into my mind lol.
I remember that my first post here was on how to extract music from the game, and that got me wondering: could it be possible to change the music ingame? For example, you could take the file for a mid hunt song and change with something different. I'm not really sure if its possible, but I doubt that its fully impossible.
Could music replacements be possible?

Re: Could music replacements be possible?
Totally! So, the music files are in (I'm fairly certain) .ogg vorbis format, and are located in base/music/ and from there you have the menu music, and then scenic music for different levels and such.
So if you had certain music clips in mind (you'd ideally want 4 for a level), you would make a folder, and title it as you want (just as long as you know which level you want to use it for).
From there, you'd want to edit the .def files for the intended map, and change the target folder to the folder with the custom music, and that should do it, I'll have to doublecheck myself once I'm home though.
Now, for menu music, if you're just looking to change it, I would say to just take an MP3 of your choice, convert it to .ogg, and replace the menu music and it'll play on loop. Now, another thing I've thought about trying is adding full soundtracks.
I got this idea from the old EA sports games where they'd have like multiple full soundtracks, so if you wanna try that route, I'd say edit the paths for the main menu music theme (I don't know where that path is off the top of my head), and instead of listing a specific file, make a folder and have it do that, and just number the songs in some type of sequence. I'm gonna give that a try later actually, just to see if it'd work because that's really just me spitballing, there's probably a little more to it than that but I'm gonna see.
Let me know how it works for you (sorry I couldn't help much right now

Wait a second, can't you just go into the music directory (i'm fairly certain its in base.scs) and replace the music? Is there anything that would break if you did that?
