While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

It takes a bit of luck.
Just keep an eye on the used trucks market and you'll eventually see it in there.

This is sad because I don't have much time to play, work etc...The_One_Over_There wrote: ↑17 Feb 2025 05:35 It takes a bit of luck.

@Kaog No – this is intentional. In the truck featured in the movie Duel, the hole wasn't cut out to perfectly fit the Caterpillar air filter. This is also visible on the model RichardH posted two posts above yours.

@HayesPacific Thanks for the clarification, I didn't know the movie, I thought it was a texture glitch

You're most welcome.
Personally, I really like Duel and can highly recommend it – it's an on-the-road thriller/chase film with great suspense.
Steven Spielberg made this film as a TV-movie back in 1971 primarily using a tag axle Peterbilt 281, but when they filmed additional scenes to bring it up to feature length (and be shown in cinemas) they had to use a different truck so they got a similarly-dressed-up Peterbilt 351 for the role. These scenes include the school bus/tunnel scene, the grade crossing scene, and a few others. The majority of the movie was filmed on the Soledad Canyon Road.
If that at all sounds interesting to you (or anyone here), here's its trailer:

But yeah – sorry for going off-topic a bit.
