Great update, many thanks Smarty!
Also, something which the changelog didn't mention – thank you for adding my request of bringing over the 350's option of painted 200 gal fuel tanks, I very much appreciate it!

A handful of new things cooking:
Single axle (281) suspension
[ external image ]
A few more customization options
[ external image ]
...and something that's maybe not quite ready for its own thread, but the model 358 is the next entry in my 'little window' Peterbilt project.

Lovely stuff!!
Definitely putting the "Custom" into Smarty's Custom Rigs there, with those tail lights and full fenders!

Hi Smarty, do you think you will ever add a colorable frame option for the Peterbilt 351/350 series? It would make for a really nice classic log truck look.
Your average American Truck Simulator gamer.

Hi Smarty,
First, I just want to say thank you for creating such an incredible mod—the Peterbilt 351 is truly a masterpiece. I’ve really enjoyed driving it and appreciate all the work that’s gone into capturing the look and feel of the original truck.
I’ve been trying to customize the 351 to more closely resemble a modernized setup like the one shown in the image attached below. While I’ve had success upgrading the engine and transmission, I’ve hit a few roadblocks I was hoping you might consider for a future update or expansion of the mod.
Specifically, I’ve been trying to:
Add a larger fuel tank
Include more accessory hookups for additional lighting
Expand the sleeper or have the option for a larger sleeper setup
These types of configurations are fairly common today, as many Peterbilt 351s and 350s have been restored and upgraded for modern use. I think it would be a fantastic option to give players the choice to keep the truck vintage or modernize it for today’s standards—something I know a lot of the community would enjoy.
I’m reaching out on a bit of a whim, as I’m not entirely sure how best to suggest additions like these or what’s feasible, but I truly appreciate what you’ve already brought to the table. Your work adds so much character and authenticity to the ATS experience.
Thanks again for everything you do, and I’m looking forward to whatever comes next!
Best regards,
