Krone trailers - missions record run and future EV content

I was reading the Krone trailer blog post today (https://blog.scssoft.com/2023/10/krone- ... d-run.html) and noticed a few interesting things:

On one hand, this paint job is a hint of the electrifying future to come

Future to come sounds like something that's going to happen in SCS. EV trucks are available and in use every single day in my country, so for sure not a future thing IRL.

Anyone know of any rumours about EV trucks coming to ETS2?

We will still need to further understand the technology itself and explore the potential possibilities of implementing it into the in-game world of ETS2

May I suggest using the same feature as with sleeping and ferries? You just skip time when you charge the truck.

It goes rather fast IRL with a rapid charger, so no need to sleep 24 hours in order to charge a truck.

Also, even the high end racing simulators adjust the available energy from batteries, so I don't see why SCS cannot do the same. E.g. iRacing gave the McLaren MP4-30 1000% SOC (State Of Charge) in order for it to be able to complete multiple qualifying laps with ERS.

Wholeheartedly exciting. The development of the single e-axle seems like a very tentative step in what is a slow-moving industry when it comes to change. I am curious as to what tangible dynamic benefits it would bring. I for one am looking forward to any & all electrified content.

EV trucks are coming "soon". I get an "http error" when trying to upload images from the stream, but see their Christmas Special 2023 at 1 hour 8 minutes, where they show a WIP Renault E-tech T: https://www.youtube.com/live/ke-HU19wyE ... M6N&t=4125

I noticed they were not sure how to use it in the game yet, in terms of charging and so on. So my suggestion: destination chargers at all delivery points that fully charge the truck while loading the trailer. Then you can fully charge the truck while sleeping at a gas station in game (we honestly cannot wait until the map team has designed charging stations all over Europe), or while taking a ferry.

http errors are caused by the upload being to large (generally over 1MB).

Please, oh please, make it possible to buy it and fully charge it while sleeping. Just as the first work around until rapid chargers are modelled in the game.
