Before I start, I am completely new to ths forum and forums in general. If I accidentally break any rules here, I am sorry.
Around a year ago Hunting Unlimited 2009 and 2010 haven't been able to launch. I always get this notifcation whenever I click launch saying "Error was: [Path id not valid: [1]]". I have tries everything that I could think of. I uninstalled from steam, reinstalled on a cd, and deleted the game using the uninst file. I remember seeing a post like this that someone made and was recommended to completely uninstall the file, but other than deleting the HU folder or using the uninst file, I don't know how to do that. Has anyone dealt with this, and how could I fix this?

Interesting, such errors should not occur on Steam.gamesphere231 wrote: 02 Nov 2023 22:30 Before I start, I am completely new to ths forum and forums in general. If I accidentally break any rules here, I am sorry.

You can check whether the game files on your disk are correct or not,
by going to the steam library, manage the game > properties > verify the integrity of installed files.
