Trailer unable to be fully repaired

First, this was reported over a year ago, but it still seems to be an issue. The original thread is locked, and given it has been over a year, I am reporting again. See viewtopic.php?t=311323

My comments are the same as the post: I'm able to reproduce this bug every time I buy a new trailer, although I am unsure if it is exclusive to the triple lowboy. I will note that sometimes, given this bug has occurred, if I reduce the size of the trailer to single, pay, and then increase it back to a triple it will reduce the damage, but not completely fix it. This doesn't always work however. This issue is present on all of the trailers I own. I will also note that I have 2 friends who use the same trailer type as me with the same number of axles that have never experienced this issue.
