Scania XT Pack 2.3 (2025-11-28)

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

Not sure if that's of interest - it would be missing the 8x6 and the 6x4 XL versions because of limitations in the current version of the PGRS mod. Does anyone want to see that though?
If Eugene wont be able to release new PGRS update anytime soon (i doubt that would be the case....) then it may not be bad idea, at least oversights will be caught. Otherwise id wait till he updates his mod first :)

Winchester1979 wrote: 06 Jun 2024 15:08 Of note, however, is that while advanced trailer coupling does work, the chassis are all basically too tall to use it on all of the current trailers, which is a bit painful. I will need to figure out how to make trailers specifically suited for these things at some point. Note that I believe basically only logging trailers and heavy cargo trailers would be used with these IRL, so I may restrict myself to making those. Not at this point sure if I'll even bother, as you can auto-connect any trailer at the garage.
As for this issue. Lowering the back via air suspension control isnt enough to squeeze the truck under? I can already see dozens of people asking why this and that modded trailer is too low to attach :?
(And to be honest i look forward on using the XTs for general transport in Africa, once ill have pc again :D )

I imagine he means specifically the badging - as the letter now comes after the engine designation. So technically S660/S770 may not exist, but 660S/770S do...

Just a guess.

Might as well get both of these over with:

I can't make that, it's beyond my skill, and Eugene is out of action. Sorry.

It took me a while to find out that these were actually a thing that existed (PGRS cabs with the 440 and 620 engines). I can make the badges for the XT version, but you'll have to ask Galimim to add them to his engine pack to get the actual engines that go with them, and I'm not going to bother adding badges before then.

While you're at it, if you can get me a complete list of Euro5 (and older) engines that are available on the Scania PGRS I'd be grateful, Scania apparently just revamped their configurator a few days ago so I can't figure out how to get the full engine list anymore.

440 and 620 are the only unique Euro 5 engines with PDE fuel system.
All the other engines with XPI fuel system are also availabe as Euro 5 in some countries. I didn't add them (if i remember corrctly) becuase there is little to no difference in performance

SCS moved some texture files around again, so a few of the bits in the package have lost their textures. Enough pieces still work that you can make an acceptable truck as it is, so I'm not going to rush the fix out, and I won't have time to start looking at it until this weekend.

I have updated the mod to fix the missing texture on the "standard" front grille ribs when using this mod by basically adding the old Automat from previous game versions to the file. New download in the opening post.

Only tested together with the P G R S mod by Eugene and the P G R S Fix by Nakamura_ya; I'll have to check out what it looks like with the SCS Scania and/or Silva_surfa's fixes later. Do let me know if there are any more issues, and I'll see if I can fix them the easy way, or if I'll need to do them the hard way.. :D
