All of the more recent truck releases from SCS have had their brand's equivalent of the XT package built right into the release version:PROMIISS wrote: 29 Jun 2025 05:51 Do you have this mod for other truck brands aswell? and where can i find this? would love to have more Heavy duty truck brands in my fleet
MAN and Volvo have their "Heavy Duty" bumpers, DAF has the "Robust" bumper for the XF and XD, and while the Renault T doesn't have *exactly* the right bumper (the actual one has recessed exposed fasteners on the corners of the bumper), the Renault T tuning pack comes with the headlight protector grilles that are the other major external tell-tale of their off-highway Renault C version. The Iveco S-Way isn't finished yet, and we don't know if it will end up including bits of the X-way (which is their reinforce version) in the full release.
The only older truck that has parts like this that I'm aware of is the RJL Scania, and possibly the JUSeeTV Scania. I remember specifically that there was a steel bumper available for RJL, but it was a separate mod, not included in the main mod. JUSeeTV may have made a steel bumper for his truck as well, I can't remember.
Someone also tried to make a mod to add the Renault C and K (K being the more obvious extended bumper version), but it was abandoned years ago, and the modder never made the proper C bumper.
So, basically right now the only modern truck to *really* need a mod like this is the Scania NG.
The reason this is happening is because the model file that the game loads refers to what is called an "automat" file, which is a generated text file with a .mat file extension that stores the specifics of how the materials in the game are supposed to be presented. Every time SCS changes the settings for a material, these files change names, and then SCS prunes them. Apparently the specific automat file that the grey plastic parts of my mod uses has been pruned from the main game. The fix is to figure out which file it can't load (this will be visible in the game log at the bottom if you just quit out of the game after encountering the issue), and then tracking down a copy of that file and adding it to the mod.CarlosAKFLOW wrote: 09 Jul 2025 06:16 Any reason why this is happening with the plastic gray xt? (clean profile only xt addon mod)
I'm fairly certain I already did this once though - make sure you're on mod version 2.2.2, and not 2.2.1, because that was the main difference between the two. Report back to me if that didn't fix it and I'll see what I can do.
