SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

T800H

#1 Post by Turkey » 06 Jan 2024 21:05

I've added a high hood option and few updated parts. (Split Windshield, Exhaust, bumper options, toolboxes with more to come)

Uses the new SCS w900 interior.

Possibly the next dump truck add-on as well. Still doing research and small edits as of now.

Shoot me some feedback and suggestions.

Thanks,

Turkey

EDIT: Was brought to my attention that use of GTM as a base for this mod would prolly not be allowed...

I'll work to switch what i've got to the base SCS W900 instead when and if the mod gets released in the near future.

You can always check with Sisl as he is the creator of the GTM T800. It would be a shame if this thing didnt get released as it already looks amazing

Sisl was part of the team, not the sole owner. And GTM have never given permission to re-use or fix their mods. Not saying that won't change, but seems unlikely.

Looks awesome! A big suggestion would be the addition of the wide hood as an option and chains on the side of the fuel tanks for those of us who like to drive on winter roads.

It'd be nice to have a fifth wheel position that centers the pin over the driven axles on low loaders. The SCS W900 has the fifth wheel set all the way back for some reason. And maybe a manual shifter in the cab, sicne W900 interior mods won't work on this

working on a t800 wide hood option as well.. to go with the older and newer style cabin.. will post pics as progress continues.. swapping some models and waiting on some green lights on getting a older interior done for the respective cab..

currently uses the SCS W900 interior with an edit split window option, full dash, shifter, cb radio and more..

suggestions and feedback welcome..

Wow! This looks really good so far! Subbing to follow this and thanks for making it :) It'll be an amazing addition to the community just as is. But as you asked...

Suggestions:

-Clutch pedal to go with the manual shifter you added
-P.T.O. option inbetween the driver and passenger seat
-Option for either a manual shifter or an auto shifter in the cabin. Auto could presumably be the SCS column mounted shifter, no need to model anything new, although an Allison push button shifter would be amazing, picture below from a T800.
-Option for Aluminum parts as well as chrome, specifically tanks and bumpers
-L.E.D. Options for headlights and turn signals
-36" mid-roof sleeper option, that seems not uncommon on the T800H
(-Loads of cabin accessory nodes, I presume as you're using the SCS W900 interior that's sorted already!)
