Better Flares v4.7.3 [ETS2 v1.60] (UPDATED 14.07.2026)

Hello! I'd like to share with you a new version of the Better Flares mod that improves vehicle lights and flares.

Version 4.0 is a revival of my long-abandoned mod of the same name, which ended on version 3.2 but was updated for some time by @paokkerkir.
Unfortunately, due to inactivity, the original 3.2 topic was deleted, so I had to create a new one.

Key features:
- Completely reworked flares
- Realistic headlights patterns with 6 different colors (up to 140 modded trucks supported)
- Modified SCS AI traffic with 9 headlights color variants and 2 red/brake signals in Traffic Addon
- Dimmed street lamps in City Lights Addon

Traffic Addon now require Sound Fixes Pack, otherwise traffic won't spawn!

Hehe, you were one of the most active beta testers, lots of improvements were implemented based on your and other users feedback

And I'm still open to any feedback, guys. So if you have suggestions or complaints, please feel free to post it here or in PM, I'll be glad to further refine the mod ^^

Hello Avelium, first thanks for the mods it looks really nice. I have some suggestions/complaints. Since the mod is not compatible with all modded trucks it is possible to make the traffic one an independent mod without the need of the base one?
This is because i'm trying to use it with a modded truck Volvo FH2022 from Sanax and it is impossible the fps drop is insane when the lights are on.

If i use only the traffic one it doesn't work no traffic spawn i think it is because of the dependency of the base mod.
