Better Flares v4.7.3 [ETS2 v1.60] (UPDATED 14.07.2026)

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

But honestly, I don't understand how mods on external sites work. I mean, when a modder—in this case, you—releases an update, I have to uninstall the mod and then redownload it, right? Because it's not like Steam, right?

Can I use both at the same time?In ETS2 better_flares_v4.6_cl only changes street lights colors. better_flares_v4.6.2_cl changes colors and adds flares with fog effect for most of street lamps models, but some of them are still empty (mostly in Scandinavia area, especially NH DLC) and these flares are reflected upside-down in truck mirrors.

Sure! If you place Better Flares v4.6 CL above Better Flares v4.6.2 CL in Mod Manager then you'll get round flares instead of foggy version

Round flares are probably more "realistic" because visible light cone can appear only during specific atmospheric conditions which isn't simulated in ATS/ETS2

How I missed this mod... Overall, the traffic looks fantastic... The truck's lights are also absolutely top-notch...
