Been playing this game for a while, very fun and simple and reminds me my time playing Nuclear Strike on my PS1.

^ looks interesting, ty for sharing. Helicopters are unusual, but amazing flying machines. Looks cute, and interesting they have 10x helicopter models already. In queue to explore.

In an even more simplified gaming style, 2d side scroler with only local coop (1 to 4x players), I've been enjoying "Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime". Simple but pleasant graphics expanding on Asteroids and Space Invaders gameplay with an enjoyable techo soundtrack and cute positive theme. On sale 50% through Jan 5th (and relatively inexpensive to fully support the devs other times).

Farming Simulator 25 (moved from fs22 after spending almost 500 hours, I've decided to move to newer one for more stuff and better graphics)
House Flipper 2 (sandbox mode is awesome, you can literally build almost 1:1 your flat)
Far cry 4 (beat twice far cry 5, so I started playing the 4, since a lot of people claim its the best from the series, I'll see. I very enjoyed 5, its a nice shooting, hunting and fishing game :) )

I recently got back into rFactor. I'd forgotten how good the physics are and how easily moddable it is.

Started this one last week, and it's surprisingly fun. A good manegement game while you fly risk bombing missions in WW2.

Very simple, fun and challenging.

Ever wanted to try Star Citizen, but don't want to spend cash rightaway ?
Now you can ! As it is Free Fly Event for two weeks, right now !

That's right ! You can play for free for two weeks !

Star Citizen is in development since 2012 (?) and it's still in Alpha stage (4.6.0 at the moment, with the latest update).
Some people say it's a scam, but it isn't. They are still working on it, but it's such a big project, it takes forever.
Last August , director Chris Roberts announced, they are aiming for release in 2027/2028 (probably the latter...).
However, Squadron 42, the singleplayer game, is due for release later this year (2026) !

How to play for free ? :

Create an account on https://robertsspaceindustries.com/en and download the Launcher.
From there you can download the game.
Mind you, this is a very big, and 'heavy' game !
Don't even think about running this on a potatomachine ...
You need about 150 Gb free space on a internal SSD ! (internal yes, it won't run on external, due to formatting on external SSD's)
and a standard HDD is simply too slow.
Also you'll need at least 16 GB RAM, preferably more. And of course a decent graphics card.
Game runs on Vulkan, but is possible to use DirectX11, if you don't have Vulkan.
If you get errors, during downloading or starting the game, ask your chatgtp, or whatever AI, it can help you solve issues.

oh, and do watch some videos on YT on how to play, it will really help you ...
