RE: Wrong position of the sun
Seriously, I actually never noticed that and I don't even care about the sun position. It's not that bad for me personally.

even arcadish TEST DRIVE UNLIMITED 2 has correct sun possition. it is unacceptable that game with 'simulator' in name has this bug. sunrise in south??? why not in north then. i guess other players wouldn't see difference anyway. what was logical reason to put sun's starting point in south instead of just east. wouldn't more reasonable to choose basic east-west directions for the begining???

Anyway, people have expressed their opinion, why don't you just accept that some care and some don't?
Retired, but still loving it.

that's the difference between you and me. i always pay attention to that kind of details. ESPECIALLY when game has full day/night cycle and has magic simulator in name. i cannot imagine microsoft flight simulator with this bug for example. if you implement something do it right!

The SUN ís the difference between you and me. I also pay attention to details. In a truck sim for Trucks, in a Train sim for Trains and in TDU2 for cars and scenario, in FSX for planes, but the sun, well I guess I would notice if it was missing..Atak_Snajpera wrote:that's the difference between you and me. i always pay attention to that kind of details. And a short question... How would you know the sun is correct in TDU 2 is you do not know what time of year the game is played in?

Look, you can all argue about this till the cows come home, but the facts are what they are. By their own admission, SCS have dropped the ball on this one and they either can't be arsed fixing it or a fix is simply not worth their development time. They're the developer, it's their prerogative. Unfortunately, as AS has bluntly pointed it out, games that purport to simulate something are measured by a different yardstick. You market something as a sim, you attract scrutiny. Don't be condescending, it's the way the cookie crumbles.

@FLEMMING V
well you don't have to be genius to assume that game is taking place in summer. now there is 10C in IBIZA. look how all NPCs are dressed. They wear tshirts and shorts. i doubt that you will go out dressed like that when there is only 10-14C outside.
