There is a consistent way to crash the game using the Freight Market.
1. Pick a job from the Freight Market and then "Set as GPS Destination" button, which then puts you back in your truck.
2. Go back to the Freight Market and press the home icon in the top left.
3. Your game has successfully crashed.

Can confirm, removing the 2 plugins and making a new profile to test the same method doesn't crash the game.
