Auto Parking Dialogue won't appear during Special Transport [NOT A BUG]

Doing the Helicopter Special Transport, I had a really awful experience where the articulated trailer was impossible to park in the given location, but there was never at any point an option to skip parking, despite the option being enabled in game settings.

This forced mission abandnment and a loss of $50,000 in-game on a profile where that money would have made a big difference, and caused a user experience where I never want to do Special Transport again. Really hoping this is a bug and not the intended experience. Some kind of workaround in case it happens again, would be extremely helpful.

No mods at all, but I have all the DLC.

What route? Anything? Can't just say "impossible" when others can't confirm if it's really impossible.

There is no auto parking option for Special Transport. The parking options dialog isn't supposed to appear.

Perhaps the trailer being impossible to park in the marked spot is a bug with that particular route?

Or maybe you just weren't driving it right, or maybe there was a mod issue after all. No one can tell from what little information you provided. Please identify the ST route, share a screenshot showing how parking was impossible, and post a game log from a session where you experienced the issue (you may have to load an autosave for that).

It's the railway station in Raton NM. The destination is simply too small for special transport. If you miss your first shot at the parking space, you MUST abort the mission and lose all the money, because there is no way to possibly turn around or reverse a massive articulated trailer back out of the entrance for another chance to pull in. Perhaps for some cargos with a simple trailer such as the tyres, it would be reasonable. But I had the helicopter transport from Farmington to Raton, and that articulated trailer will easily get stuck in the tiny destination area if you don't park it perfectly the first time.

Knowing that this is intended behavior, I just won't do special cargo anywhere I haven't already been before, because the consequences are just too dire. Doing 40mph for an entire trip, only to get there and lose it all plus an extra 15k because you couldn't park a massive trailer in a tiny lot on your first try, is just not cool.

Personally I love parking, it's my favorite part of the game and I take short hauls just to park more often. But you need some kind of second chance if the first park didn't go perfectly. Especially for massive cargo at night in a tiny lot that's tough to even get into.
