We'll I'll be! It made so much sense for Harbaugh to go to NYG, that team just has so much talent and has yet to reach it's full potential yet.

Don't need the Rams to get another ring, and don't want the Bears to make it back to the Super Bowl before the Vikes do, again. Don't want Darnold to lose, but I think it'd be really funny if the 49ers managed to limp their way to a Super Bowl appearance, and I like Purdy and McCaffrey.

Although that would mean the Bills would leave the 0-4 Super Bowl club, leaving the Vikes all alone :(
My father would love to see a 49ers-Bills Super Bowl, albeit he would be really mad again if his 49ers lost given the last three loses came, my brothers are 49ers fans too and they haven't witnessed a Super Bowl in their lifetimes, but he'd probably be somewhat happy to see the Bills win because we have a lot of friends from Buffalo who have been coming down to our Florida area as of recently.

I'd love to see it too, out of the NFC Teams I can't stand the Bears and I don't really like the Seahawks or Rams, but I'd be content with the Seahawks over the Rams because I wouldn't mind seeing Sam Darnold hoist a Lombardi after everything he's been through professionally, don't care about the rest of the team if you're asking however.

I'm sorry Mav. I've purposely held off on replying to you because even here, we're all hearing the same things that you and everyone else have heard all this week.

To be quite honest, I was shocked. That he would voluntarily leave, that is (according to Mr. Rooney), for him 'to spend more time with his family''?
I'm not buying it.

Maybe if he was only making three or 3.5 mill per year as I originally thought, maybe I would buy into that, as he's made lots of $$$ in coaching over the years.
But, thanks to a contract extension going to 2027 that he signed back in 2024, rumor has it that he was making close to or over 11 mill/year since said extension...so no new HC coaching position, or the rumored possible HC position at USC, or a cushy TV job isn't going to lure someone like him away from a job that he had guaranteed the next two seasons, or may have had guaranteed as long as he wanted it -after getting such a nice big extension in the first place.
In other words (and as how much I hated the fact), he had it made in the shade here.

As much as many fans here may have hated him and had enough of his playoff record, the Rooney's loved him -or so we thought.

No one (that young) in their right mind would just walk away from that kind of scratch. It doesn't make sense. Something's not adding up.
There just may have been some 'behind-the-scenes' nonsense going on that we don't nor ever will know about.

Two more perfect weeks, this time from IonutL and Maverick89! Still room for movement at the top of the leaderboard, should be exciting to see what it looks like before the Super Bowl.

Patriots @ Broncos -> Patriots
Rams @ Seahawks -> Rams

There's no teams to root for on the basis of "they haven't been to or won a Super Bowl in a while or ever" anymore, but I'll be rooting against the Patriots in general, and for Jarrett Stidham and Sam Darnold personally.

Kind of feel bad for Bears fans, that throw by Caleb would have gone down in NFL lore as a named play if they had won the game. Absolutely insane.
