I don't think we'll ever get another Super Bowl after how cold it was for the surrounding festivities last time, lol.

Yeah, the NFL really doesn't like doing Super Bowls in the North, even with the domed stadiums like Detroit and Minneapolis.

Usually it's a carousel between cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, New Orleans, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and can't forget about my home city, Tampa Bay.

I think it's crazy Dallas hasn't gotten more Super Bowls since Jerry's World opened up back in 2009, you'd think they would have more Super Bowls but new stadiums in popular markets keep opening up and I guess that's the whole reason behind Dallas' lack of Super Bowls since 09.

Also late with this news, but all 8 "home" teams' International game (which each listed will have one except the Jags) have been finalized (all NFC teams besides the AFC's Jaguars due to the extra home game they have in the extra NFC/AFC matchup that was added in 2021):

Melbourne, Australia will be the Los Angeles Rams Facing the San Francisco 49ers at Melbourne Cricket Ground; the first-ever regular-season game in Australia.
London, England will be the Jacksonville Jaguars Playing two separate games in London (one "home" at Wembley Stadium and one "away" at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium).
London, England will be the Washington Commanders Playing at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil will be the Dallas Cowboys Playing at Maracanã Stadium; rumored to face the Baltimore Ravens.
Mexico City, Mexico will be the San Francisco 49ers Playing at Estadio Azteca in December following stadium renovations.
Paris, France will be the New Orleans Saints (no surprise lol) Making the NFL's regular-season debut in France at the Stade de France.
Munich, Germany will be the Detroit Lions Playing at Allianz Arena.
Madrid, Spain will be the Atlanta Falcons Playing at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Yeah I am surprised too. The one year we got it, we got snow and shut down the city that week. It didn't start thawing out until that Saturday. Its very seldom that it snow/ices over here during Super Bowl week. Nowadays with all the global changes, its 50-70s F around the Superbowl here. The highlighted is the worse it ever got. No other time did it even drop below 40 F

The first round of the NFL Draft is done and out. Here are the draftees going to which teams they were drafted to:

No surprises, Fernando Mendoza of Indiana is going to take his talents to Las Vegas on the Raiders. A lot of surprises however including the drafting of Alabama QB Ty Simpson to the Los Angeles Rams, which will probably need it because of an aging Matthew Stafford.

As usual, will be rooting personally for Blake Miller and Peter Woods because they are Clemson Alumni, even if they are on teams I don't necessarily "like".

The NFL Draft continues tonight and tomorrow, tonight at 7PM EST and tomorrow at 12PM EST on ABC, ESPN, ESPN App, and NFL Network.

Vikings pick will either turn out really good or really bad probably. He's got a bad foot which is bad for a big guy, but if he can stay healthy he could be scary.

I know this thread is about football, but I've just gotta share this for context:

The Minnesota Wild made it out of the first round of the playoffs for the first time in 11 years (sorry, flight :P). ATS was still almost a year away from release.

This was their 9th attempt in those 11 seasons, so it wasn't for lack of trying. Lol. Still feels pretty surreal, my life has changed a LOT since then.

If the Wolves can manage to limp across the finish line against the Nuggets, it would be the first time ever that the Minnesota NHL and NBA teams are in the 2nd round of the playoffs in the same season.

Yeah the Wild deserved it. Those 2 open goal scores was awesome. I don't care what team it is, I always think its cool when they fling a puck the length of the ring and score in an open net. Dallas been in the playoffs the past few years and can't get passed Edmonton. So maybe the Wild can go further this year and ride the hype wave.

I'd like to see the Wolves beat the Nuggets. Denver won it not to long ago. I always like to see other team go further and perhaps win it all. I liked the Wolves back when Marbury was there, KG and even JR Rider.

Yeah for a while there it seemed like the KG era was going to be the peak forever, but this is now easily the best time for Timberwolves fans ever. They're in big trouble though if Ant doesn't come back. There's a nonzero chance of sneaking past the Spurs without him, very very small chance but nonzero. There is absolutely zero chance we beat OKC without him, lol.
