Elevators and escalators are also common forms of freight that require two different trailers. The escalator frame and the the great big drive wheels for an elevator requires the flatbed trailer while escalator balustrades, escalator handrails, escalator drive motors, and most elevator parts would travel in a dry van trailer. Schindler's elevator plant is in Pennsylvania while the escalators are made in Clinton, North Carolina

Now we all know that the northeast region in the US has a ton of public transit agencies and some of the cities along I-95 have so many bus garages and rail depots, I think that some might have their main parts department where the big trucks drop their freight off. SEPTA in Philadelphia is one of them and the New York Metropolitan Transit Authority is another. Now the best thing to do is to contact these places via email and see if they would like to be put into the game and where do they have big trucks deliver parts for the buses and rail rolling stock.

Now if I was making a delivery of new tires from Goodyear in Texarkana, Arkansas, for the buses in a major city in the northeastern portion of the US, I would follow I-30 to Little Rock, then east on I-40, then northeast on I-81, then jog east on I-66. Up in the northeast region is also Schindler Elevator Corporation. They have an elevator plant and somewhere I think in North Carolina or South Carolina is the Schindler escalator plant.

Due to the fact that the northeastern portion of the US is heavily populated with public transit systems, there are two businesses that are popular in the public transit industry and with Amtrak. Siemens is very popular with newer Amtrak equipment and they are also responsible for making several light rail vehicles. Gillig is what some would call the leading public transit bus builder. New Flyer and NABI I think have plants located in both Canada and in states east of the Mississippi River. Orion does have a plant in Oriskany, NY. New York City MTA seems to be a repeat customer of Orion bus. Sadly Orion Bus Industries has closed. I think for the rail cars at Siemens, I think they can be shipped to a railyard to be loaded on a flatbed and shipped by rail. The system in Pittsburgh does have a place where a Siemens product could be unloaded. Siemens does have a plant in Sacramento. Now I am not sure if it's too late to squeeze in a Semens plant or not.

One of the main things also when it comes to major public transit agencies where large trucks are permitted, many transit agencies would have a freight transfer center where the players would bring in their freight on large pallets. I think that also many large cities that have a massive subway system such as New York City, I think the New York MTA would have a freight transfer center where the players would unload their freight and sometimes I think the New York MTA would move some of the freight from the truck onto waiting tricked out subway cars to take to either the carbarns or to a station that has access to a special elevator that would take the freight to it's final destination. I think that even Amtrak has special freight cars that come to some transfer stations that the players can pull up to. So to get some updates, send the New York MTA, and Amtrak an email for where players can drop off the freight as maybe in the game, the transit agencies could "place an order for paper products from 42Print".

For those who has seen the Modern Marvels Carwash, there is one carwash that turns out to be a giant! Carwashes have several tanks as one of them contains the sludge that is washed off of the cars. With a car wash washing thousands of cars, sometimes it might take a great big septic truck to vacuum out the sludge tank. I think some could fill up a 40 to 53' septic trailer. Creating a septic trailer for the game really isn't all that hard. Mostly a septic truck is really a tank truck with vacuum attachments added to the truck. So really all SCS would need to do is to take one of the tank trailers and add vacuum hoses to it to make it a septic trailer. The name used to be Cloister Carwash but now it's Mr. Car Wash.

Now for something like putting in a deliverable carwash, it would require a landfill for dumping the sludge. Either that or a place where the truck could do a truck to barge transfer.

Now there are two or three main highways to get to Woods Hole in Massachusetts. I-81, I-90, and I-95. What is so important about Woods Hole is that they are in the science industry and they do a lot of shipwreck research work. While the submersibles are often maintained onboard the research ship, but that research ship has to have supplies in order for the onboard maintenance crews to do their jobs. There are commercial electronics such as lighted microscopes, glass test tubes, vases, and a ton of computers, and I am sure they would need a truck load of printer paper for both on land and at sea. And 42Print would be the perfect source for the office stuff to deliver to Woods Hole.

Amtrak's Union Station in Washington, DC does have a loading dock but the clearance is 12 feet. The entrance is off 1st Street.

Now for if someone is looking for some parodies for some of the transit agencies since the northeast region is littered with various transit systems as some systems even have some streetcar routes that never did close, here are some ideas:

Pittsburgh- the real name is Port Authority Transit or PAT for short. A good parody would be PIT.
Philadelphia- Real transit name is Southeastern Transportation Authority or SEPTA. A good parody would be the name "SET"
New York City, best name of theirs is SCS NYMT.
Boston's transit system, why not call it SCSMA.

Now since we already have TrakUS, we could have two TrakUS deliverable maintenance shops. One would be in Chicago and the other would be in Poughkeepsie, NY. I think that for delivering subway car parts and other transit maintenance material, I am not sure where the big trucks drop the stuff off, I think it could be The Bronx, or Brooklyn, but i am not sure.
