When you have your own diesel truck and you decide to do a quick job with the 2024 Scania S BEV in the same play session, the diesel sounds of the truck you just drove are inherited.
Those diesel sounds will wrongly play instead of the electric sounds of the 2024 Scania S BEV.
The glitched behavior stops after reloading the game. Note the matching diesel startup sounds in the below video for proof:
- Steps to reproduce:
1. Purchase a Scania Streamline Normal from the Used Trucks dealership, assign it as your truck, and exit the game.
2. Load into the game. Start the engine of the Scania Streamline Normal. Do not exit the game until step 5.
3. Switch to the 2024 Scania S BEV by selecting it in the Quick Jobs menu.
4. Startup the truck and notice it has the same startup sound as the truck you drove before.
5. Now you can exit the game.
Game version: 1.51.0.63s
Reproducibility: Always
Windows 11, 64-bit
No mods enabled when the bug report was made

I did some testing and couldn't reproduce this. Test this on a profile that has never had mods loaded.

@Andre_AW - If I had any doubts on the bug's reproducibility I wouldn't be making this bug report in the first place.
But I have found more criteria to reproduce the bug since it's more specific than I thought, so I've updated the steps to reproduce!
It seems trucks bought from the Used Truck dealership is a factor for reproducing the bug, so try my updated steps in the original post. These were also tested on a fresh new profile without any mods loaded.
And to be sure, try with a used Scania Streamline Normal - this is what I tested with now on a fresh profile without any mods loaded.
I think it may also be possible to get the opposite problem, a mix of electric sounds on a diesel truck - although because exhaust sounds are referenced only for diesel trucks, then the exhaust sounds should still be correct.

Re: [DLC 2024 Scania S BEV] Glitched sound, copies last played truck
Before Scania S BEV, Renault E-tech didn't played diesel engine sound and kept its own electric sound.
However, Renault is also playing diesel sound if you loaded diesel truck first after Scania BEV released.
And yes. This problem was reproducible to me on a very clean profile, it's not always Scania diesle sound but still play diesel sound anyway.
The only way to hear electric motor sound is make EV trucks to your first loaded truck.
If you loaded your game and diesle truck was your first loaded truck, you can't hear electric motor sound.
It doesn't matter owned truck nor company truck.

Tested on 1.54 and could not reproduce the issue, so I believe this was eventually fixed. Thank you
