If not, could you let me know as there are no specific 'ReadMe' info given. ;)

Doing some research I found that when having the game save folder outside the “Documents” folder, for some reason it is not detected when adding the directory assigned manually in “Settings”.

I will get to work on this. In the meantime you can have your game folder in the default “Documents” folder.

Hi. ironically enough, the reason i have my home folder in D:drive was because i had problems disabling the steam cloud when using the original 'Save Tool' prior to and including V1.49 Thanks for the update and quick reply.

Release 0.4.8
  • Bug fix that prevented loading profiles located in directories external to the “Documents” folder
  • Fixed bug that prevented loading saves with LF line breaks
  • Now if a trailer or truck is not found in a search it is omitted when searching the complete set
  • Refactored the logic in which the trailer weight (cargo_mass) is modified

Hi. Me again :-(
Downloaded the 0.4.8 and still no joy. I run ets2, made a new save and called it 'Truck tools latest' shut the game down and ran your app. In the settings tab i choose my profile and i can see all my saves but -and i'm guessing this could be the problem- there's no 'Truck tools latest' save folder, it doesn't show up for selection. I do have folders numbered 1 - 39 and a bunch of auto saves-drives and autosave-jobs.
I go back into the game and i can see the save 'Truck tools latest' and is selectable, it doesn't show in the profile folder when the game isn't running. My ets2 config file shows uset g_save_format "0"', should this be a different number or is default=0 ok?
Sorry to be a p.t.a

From what I understand you are trying to select the folder of your saves and not the folder where your ETS2 save files are located. To do this selection correctly you have to:
  • Have a folder that will be the ETS2 container (like a copy of “Documents”)
    [ external image ]
  • Then when you open the settings and select the folder. You have to select the folder that simulates the “Documents” folder where the “Euro Truck Simulator 2” folder is stored (remember that the “Euro Truck Simulator 2” folder cannot be renamed)

As for the saving format, it should not be a problem (or so I think) and there is no problem, you can ask me whatever you want, I am here to help

Hi. There was my confusion, my settings entry should be 'C:\Users\saiyu\Documents' -which looking at it now does say 'Document folder' Duh.
Many thanks for your kind patience with an old man :-)

First wanted to say thanks for creating this utility very much appreciated. I just got it set up a few minutes ago and testing the features and its great.

Will it be possible to be able to add AND remove levels in the future? What I mean is that I would like to buy a truck to use for a profile by setting my level to say level 20. Then after set my level back to the level I was in the beginning.

Again, thanks for creating this!!

It's nothing, it's my grain of sand for the community, thanks to you for using this project ❤️

Currently the level is worked with XP points, not directly with the level as such since each level requires a different amount of XP to be advanced. The truth is that I don't know what are the XP ranges for each level. I only know that exactly 575700 is the amount for level 100 of the game

If someone had the data on how much XP each level needs I could add the reference

See def/economy_data_xp.sii
It´s around 148000 for Level 36 (147300 ?)
I am running a "get rich quick" mod on new profiles that gives me 148k XP points for the initial job (exp_park_bonus related fields in def/economy_data.sii) (and 2 million cash (fixed_revenue)). Then just assign the 36 skill points, disable the mod and I´m done ;-)

You are right, inside the file you tell me (economy_data_xp.sii) are the XP ranges to reach the levels, I will take it into consideration for future updates, thanks
