@Drive Safely I think that command completely bypasses the mod manager, so it's no bueno. A much better command would be one that simply lets you enable any mod (at least version-dependent mods, as DLC-dependent mods could be much more problematic). It would be very useful for situations like this

I thought it was interesting the 2022 Kenworth T680 does not have its camera mirrors in this module. Would it have been too much of an advantage for the night challenges?

it also doesn't have the aero mudflaps in the module too.

And with that, I have finished the Academy. Pretty nice, had some challenges, I also had a few crashouts lol. Was not terribly difficult. This was also with a manual transmission. I think the T680 might still have a 12-speed, which was a bit odd to drive the manual with but is what it is. Also, it seems like the T680 Mirrors are missing the Antennas. Not sure if this is gonna be worked on in the future, but should be.

Confusingly for me it seems that Academy loads my main profiles mods.

Loaded up the 389 and it has Slav Jerry's MX-13 sounds and ZeeMod's Peterbilt Sound Effects working, as well as probably all my other mods

Well, it works based on an existing profile to keep your progress, so i'm not surprised mods work on the Academy, you can basically trick the game with a few mods to let you use your own truck

Doing the manual shifting achievement finally got me to try the Smart Sequential shifting option they added recently and I quite like it! Really makes the low range much more manageable since I shift with up and down on the left stick of an Xbox controller.

It is the code changes that breaks the mods, not the data. And... surprise surprise... whole new game mode needs some code support. So even if the academy data were released as a standalone dlc, the code and hence the exe file would have to change as well and mods would break with it anyway.

Mods? Interesting. Let’s see if they find a way to take that as from us again, like they are keeping us out of the gameplay section of the options menu. I’d at least like to adjust brake strength as the default setting is ridiculously high.

Minor thing, apparently you can cheat while going for the Rowing through the gears achievement. I found out about this as I tried to switch into sequential mode in-truck using the assigned key. That didn't work, scenarios solved using that method don't count towards the achievement (Why?). But when shifting is set to sequential in the controller options,you can switch to automatic mode in-truck while doing a scenario.
