I found something else, on Chapter 4, for the Blind Side Reversing test, you can just turn the truck around and make it not a blind side

Yeah in many other scenarios there are boundaries that you must not cross, time to establish some in this one as well.

I’m astonished how some scenarios expect you to move the rig while you can’t see a thing. You have to make your steering input and then hope nothing goes wrong while you wait until you can see again where your trailer is going. IRL this happens every day so truckers are used to it, also they can GOAL but in the game there isn’t even someone to guide you. (Hint: challenging maneuvers with another player as your guide on foot would be a great feature!)

One thing that jumped out at me as odd is the word "kerb". Is this a British spelling? I've always spelled it "curb".

I don't think it's good that updates are simply released for everyone without a corresponding translation. For example, the entire Truck Driving Academy is not available in German. This was completely different in earlier times, final versions were always fully translated, only in the beta were certain strings not yet translated.

Final opinion after trying and retrying the driving school in both ETS2 and ATS.
Years ago I tried them as a demo and it took some time before I bought them. If I had tried the driving school once I had bought them I would have been so bored that I would have asked for a refund or in any case I would never have played them again. I would have missed a lot of 2 games that, over the years, have always become better.

Down with the driving school and long live the experience directly on the road. Even at the cost of making mistakes 10, 100, 1000, a thousand million billion trillion times before learning.

Question. IS Chapter 4 supposed to be dark? The videos I see have it as daytime, yet mine is at night

During the 2024 Christmas Stream, it was revealed by Mark (and Pavel to some extent) that the Driving Academy mode will be receiving an update this year.

Yeah, we've got a prototype in place right now that's in testing, without saying too much there's definitely new stuff coming, it's not going to be mind-blowingly different or anything but definitely a right step in the right direction I'd say a good step a good big step, you know we're not just recycling scenarios it's not more of the same, so expect something new expect something, I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised when it finally comes.

I think this year might be the year the 2nd box on the menu (Truck Driving Proficiency) finally comes.

It was also said that "everyone will be pleasantly surprised", I wonder what he meant by that?
