As I mentioned before in the stream

On the last one they should haul a hazardous material

And once u complete it

Then u take the endorsement/hazmat test

If u pass both test scs will give u an SCS Permit

Before u take the driving final exam

Along with ur gamer tag name and info on it

Whoever made the decision to put time limits on these should reverse it. I think they also overreacted on people telling them the first batch was too easy.
It turns safe but slow driving into send it a dozen times and hope you don't hit anything. The exact opposite of what an academy should do.
Most of the ones so far have been blind sides too which is unrealistic.
The difficulty went from 1/10 to 9/10 and to be honest. It's not fun just speeding through them a dozen times in order to get under the time limit. The petrol station one is a joke.

Dropping stars should be moving while in the external view (and even that is debatable because I have seen footage of people doing blind sides with a drone overhead) and too many pull ups. Just leave the time out of it because you should not be rushing in close manoeuvrers.

When I first read this before trying Proficiency volume a few days ago, I became worried about the time limits, recalling my dissatisfaction with tight limits for Gold reward in the "Trucks & Trailers"
After completing all challenges in Chapters 2 and 3, and a couple in Chapter 4, I have to say the time limit in most cases seems reasonable.

So far, the only challenge where I go overtime consistently is Scatterbrained. All others I either failed by collisions or finished on time. Some challenges are tricky, but once proper maneuvers are identified, the time isn't an issue even with relatively slow and safe maneuvering.

I wonder what is the story behind the location for ATS Academy. No questions to ETS2 one, it looks like a location built specifically for the purpose of being truck driving academy. ATS one is more strange: abandoned factory — well, OK, but then you have whole abandoned town (is it abandoned though), then you have some construction work going on (remember cluttered lot, where you have to do blind-side parking?). What is going on there? Is it inspired by some real world place? Or America has such places all over it?

In America, truck training is done almost exclusive on normal roads, aside from parking and pre-trip work. We felt that the idea of these abandoned "nuclear" towns were quite cool, as it provided a realistic map layout while still keeping the player off of roads shared with other users.

Seems like it is time for some challenges with a double trailer.

Interesting that they are using a B-Double in ATS, i guess they acknowledge how painful it is to reverse a double trailer with a dolly in the game
