I'm glad I found this thread, as the lack of an update for scs_blender_tools_addon_2.4.1 for 1.60 had me stumped. And it's great that you have support for the latest version of Blender!

is that hi_freq details for normal maps supported on 1.60 OB? I know there were material updates but I'm still on 3.6.

Just wondering if that's what SCS is using on 1.60 for better materials on the OB, if so I have a lot of stuff to update.

There are still issues with interior_reflection_blurry2.tobj.

I don't think I ever used that tbh, only vehicle_reflection, close and far. Would that above one be for example, interior chrome?

It is one of several new reflection materials used for different interior materials: plastic, leather, vinyl, walls, and more.

This custom plugin does not "read" only blurry2

Oh it's the new one that explains why I never used it! :D

Gotcha, thanks.

Again, the problem is not with this tool, it does its job as expected. It sees a cubemap tobj, expects multiple texture entries, finds only one and throws an error. The problem lies at Converter PIX level instead, because blurry2 uses a different format (dimension limitations) it gets confused and doesn't split it.

For now it is easy to fix by hand by downscaling blurry3 textures from 4x4px to 2x2px.

Even Texture Tool fails to open blurry2. What's more, only blurry2 has this issue, in both games.

Because its dimensions are smaller than the usual format needs, it uses a different (internal) DDS format to the rest. PS tools happen to not support this. It's a workaround but it's not broken.

Help needed: Missing road markings after Blender export

I imported the "UN 1-1 Road" into Blender because I want to adjust its width to match the original roads. Unfortunately, I run into the following issue after exporting:

The road no longer recognizes which country it belongs to, and therefore it cannot load the correct country-specific textures.

What works: The basic asphalt textures and the road damage textures show up perfectly fine.

What doesn't work: The road markings (lane lines) are completely missing.

Does anyone know how to keep the country data intact during the export process?
