SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Hello author, I'd like to ask: Does this mod change both the original game's lighting and rain effects, or only the rain effects without altering the lighting?

Got it. So this mod is compatible with PNG Weather and Project Ultimate Weather. Please note that Realistic Weather System needs to be placed below them in the load order. Those two mods adjust overall weather, while this one only tweaks rain effects.

Because weather and graphics files are stored in the same files. So if you put my mod bellow it wont work. And if you put above them, then the mods you mentioned will not work. Please read description

Version 2.9 is only compatible with 1.60 game version.
Version 2.8 is compatible with game versions 1.57-1.59 and available to download in the first post. Note that this version is archived and will no longer be updated. Only newer version will be supported.

Preview photos on the first page were updated to represent current visuals in bad weather in 1.60, removing the older ones.
