Vanilla VR Route Advisor Placement

I just ditched all my mods and am loving it. But I have a question pertaining to the Route Advisor in VR. Is there a vanilla way to move where it sits in the VR view? Right now, when I pop it up, it's basically sitting on top of my steering wheel, blocking my forward view. I'd like to move it to, say, sitting on the wheel itself.

There are mods that can alter it, some significantly, but, as I am in this particular forum thread, it's presumed I do not want a mod for this.

EDIT: These are found in the config.cfg file:

uset r_manual_stereo_ui_y_game "0.0" #route adviser translate up/down
uset r_manual_stereo_ui_x_game "0.0" #route adviser translate left/right

I am about to experiment with them.

EDIT 2: y - positive goes up, x - positive goes right, negative goes left.

y 0.3, x -0.3 put the route advisor in the upper left corner of the W900 windshield roughly where the Better VR Route Advisor mod puts it.

Dilemma solved!
