Re: Project Road Trip Discussion Thread
First couple pics appear to be a newer Dodge Challenger, next few seem to be a 1970s Charger, next RAM 3500, some sort of other pickup truck, and a Crown Vic. THis is all I got, not really a car enthusiast.

They've mentioned that they've been in talks with car manufacturers for a bit so it could be real life versions.Smaland wrote: 11 Apr 2025 15:26
OH MY GOD!
My favorite car of all cars is going to be in one of my favorite driving games!!!![]()
I'm already want it!![]()
One thing i'm curious, are they gonna be real branded or slightly similar to their real life versions?

Funny how nobody has pointed out yet that one of these photos' teases a Jeep.
I know because my father owned one before (a 2017 Unlimited Sahara) and I recognize all the switches and where they go as well as the roof structure.

Wow. I'm pleasantlely surprised!
That's a great idea they had! (still have to read the blog post and check the video, but I think I got the concept right lol)
I'm very excited for an old Crown Victoria as well! I love that model.
Doing a road trip is a great addition to the game.

We'll have a Crown Victoria. Wow, that's like a dream hahahah
I love Crown Vic. And apparently it looks like they'll be licensed, or so it seems.

A number of MOPAR parts in there. I see a 2nd Gen Charger dashboard, a 3rd Gen Challenger mirror, and a MOPAR fuel cap. Please let me recreate my IRL car in game!

I commented on SCS General Discussion Thread, but I will comment here now in the appropriate place, I guess this explains why Hawaii appeared in usa.dss a few updates ago. Maybe it will be included within this project, since it would make more sense for Hawaii to be here than being included in the main map for trucks.

I don't see Hawaii coming anytime soon, unless they got some special plan for it that we are all unaware of. But I do think *eventually* Hawaii will be in the game.
One thing is: I wonder if they're going to do an infrastructure update with the current fueling stations, given that most of these teased vehicles run on Gasoline, it wouldn't make any sense to fuel up under a Diesel Semi fueling station which is what is currently in the game at the moment. Also I would assume many fueling stations that are scenic/static will be activated with this update.

Re: Project Road Trip Discussion Thread
It's a thrilling concept indeed. Several other games feature non-racing car driving. Reminds me a bit of BeamNG Drive's scenarios, probably without the action part. Speaking of that game... all of its vehicles are unlicensed. Not saying SCS should or will do it the same way, but it's possible.
Personally I hope there will be RVs available in this game mode. They're the #1 vehicle class for tourists roaming the US. (Not to speak of a possible Road Trip for ETS2, RVs are super popular in Europe as well.)
