Agreed, it will still be a while before RT comes into ATS. I'll eat my hat if it comes out this month.

Depends on the hat's material, actually.
Cotton, wool, leather, artificial fabric, need different sauces.
I don't know specific tastes in Florida.
But my suggestion is don't buy any, it will not be needed.

Indeed, would not expect any higher standards. One could still come up with "yeah but these games (GT/Forza) are only simcades". Taking a game that is more widely recognized as a simulator (including in comparison to ATS/ETS2) as an example, i know from Assetto Corsa that you can activate assists like ABS and TC also for cars that don't have that IRL. As Joe Alex said, nothing unusual.TruckingWolfUSA wrote: 29 Jun 2026 04:51 Thanks.
If they don’t bother, I don’t see SCS setting a higher standard.

From memory I think they have settings for always on, always off or as per the real car. The last setting lets you have that bit of realism without having to dig into the settings every time you change vehicles.Quark wrote: 10 Jul 2026 23:45 Taking a game that is more widely recognized as a simulator (including in comparison to ATS/ETS2) as an example, i know from Assetto Corsa that you can activate assists like ABS and TC also for cars that don't have that IRL. On today's ETS2 Lets Play stream, Nemiro said that the second Road Trip gameplay video is coming soon and will feature the 1967 Mustang.
Actually excited to see how the analog/mechanical odometer works!

I hope it’s considerably better than the first preview, but as it follows the first pretty quickly, I think it will be very similar.

Re: Project Road Trip Discussion Thread
I really hope they show some actual gameplay dynamic and not just driving around like the F150, and if it will be like that, just turn off the comments in the video right away
