Looking ahead, if Road Trip eventually comes to ETS, so many iconic European ones could be added there far more than in ATS:

Citroën 2CV
Citroën DS/ID
Citroën CX
FIAT Nuova 500
FIAT 600
Volkswagen T1
Volkswagen Beetle
Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk1
Volkswagen Golf R32 Mk4
VW Corrado VR6
Mini Cooper
BMW 3-Series (E30)
BMW 3-Series (E36)
BMW 5-Seriies (E35)
BMW 850i (E31)
Audi Quattro
Audi RS2 Avant
Škoda 100
Trabant 601
Porsche 911
Porsche 944
Porsche 928
Jaguar E-Type
Mercedes-Benz W123
Mercedes-Benz W124
Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC C126
Saab 99 Turbo
Saab 900
Saab 9000 Aero
Volvo 240
Volvo 850 R
Lancia Delta Integrale

And this is far from a complete list.

The internal names of the cars in the Ford DLC are also already in the files

-ford.bronco_24
-ford.f150_23
-ford.mustang_67
-ford.victoria_06

I like how they are separating them by years.

They learnt their mistake from the early day trucks.

I declined and held the line and watched the angels fall.

I wouldn't exactly say that. North America is by far a heavy car use continent. Literally hundreds of models have been sold in NA. From compact to super large vehicles. Most roads in Europe probably don't accommodate large vehicles. 2-3 years ago, I made a list of brands and models myself and this list is far from complete. I only went back so far with most brands. And I didn't include much of any new models that developed post 2010. Zero electric vehicles are on this list and I know they are numerous now.

The European boom of full-size SUVs and recently even US pickups like RAM, F-150 or Explorer negates this. Roads are still the same size they used to be (and that won’t change in the future), parking spots/parkades are only rarely or slowly adapted, so drivers have to manage. Let’s not forget we also have box trucks, those are bigger than any passenger car anywhere in the world and they’ve always existed and deliver downtown (Sure, vans are preferable for the last mile, but box trucks are regularly to be found there).
