There seems to be a problem with the fuel consumption when the mod is enabled, not sure if it's my game problem or something is wrong with the mod
I had the same issue. So, for testing I created different profiles. Here are my test results.Kass wrote: 02 Jun 2025 08:32 @kit this does not change the fuel consumption for player.
When you start new game without any skills the truck fuel consumption is "huge" and its only for "short" trips delivery otherwise will run out of fuel.
After you fill the skills called Eco Consumption will drop significantly the fuel consumption, and that in the mod remains untouched, meaning the same as default.
Scenario 1:
Profile Name: Test 1, ETS2 XP & Economy Rebalance: Enabled.
After finishing the first mission I didn't level up any skill. I started a Quick Job of 256KM, my fuel ran out in the middle of the job. I took emergency fuel of 500L. It lasted me for merely 18km. Then I had to quit the job.
Scenario 2:
Profile Name: Test 2, ETS2 XP & Economy Rebalance: Disabled
After finishing the first mission started a Quick Job of 225KM. Finished the job without any issue.
Scenario 3:
Profile Name: Test 1, ETS2 XP & Economy Rebalance: Enabled.
Loaded the previous save and levelled up all skills including Eco Driving. Started the same Quick Job of 256KM; the fuel wasn't an issue this time.
My Conclusion:
The mod does spike the fuel usage significantly but also provides a workaround in the way of giving the user a chance to level up Eco Driving skill.

@asadusjaman Like i said mod only changes Eco Driving skill.
The file that change trucks fuel consumption usually is in trucks engine. Its not in this mod.
You did not use when testing same truck and engine, because more powerful the engine more fuel will consume, thats why Scenario 1 "FAIL" because u had more powerful truck engine.
There is no working around in this case because nothing in this mod as i said changes the trucks fuel consumption.
Bigger engine = higher base fuel consumption so no Eco Driving skill = high fuel consumption

I cannot duplicate the fuel issues at all. Especially when one delivery with actual parking means you're maxed out with all skills. (and, yes, I have Realistic Fuel Consumption checked/on.)
Interesting that damage is turned off, and cops won't bother you, either.
Finally, I can just drive, and not worry about delivery time at all, unless I take a WoTr load, but those always give plenty of time anyway.

@Rururinu keep in mind in 1.59 this was changed and moved to another file:
max_eco_consumption_drop[1]: (0.15, 0.15)
max_eco_consumption_drop[2]: (0.2, 0.2)
max_eco_consumption_drop[3]: (0.25, 0.25)
max_eco_consumption_drop[4]: (0.3, 0.3)
max_eco_consumption_drop[5]: (0.99, 0.99)
Even after update that would use the default values. Default value at max skill is -30% less only
@Trahelion Realistic fuel Consumption will consume even more
Yes that thing delivery time with "no stress" etc
max_eco_consumption_drop[1]: (0.15, 0.15)
max_eco_consumption_drop[2]: (0.2, 0.2)
max_eco_consumption_drop[3]: (0.25, 0.25)
max_eco_consumption_drop[4]: (0.3, 0.3)
