No thank you, that sounds like a chore.

It's a no thanks from me too. I feel the same about walking around and manually filling tank, raising trailer legs, attaching cables, or whatever. It's probably fun a couple of times, but you'll get annoyed needing to do that every time after that. It's better to focus on multi drops and rigids.

We need more dynamic cargo first.

I would be fine if they do some sort of Dynamic Loading/Unloading with a Forklift or a Crane, but doing it myself? No thank you, that's what other games are for.

Cutscenes for loading and unloading: a trailer being loaded at a warehouse, or a curtain-side trailer being unloaded from the side with a forklift. All of this is technically feasible in the game. It doesn't change the gameplay, but it greatly enhances immersion.

p.s. The same applies to buses. A cutscene showing passengers boarding is also entirely feasible.

I think we should be doing fine even without passenger cutscenes. They can always be added later like Dynamic loading. Multiple stops are what that's most needed. For the first public version, not having passenger cutscenes is okay.

I like the games because of the "drive from A to B" aspect, so the less deviations the better. Let's just agree that despite the simulator tag it's essentially a driving game. I just want them to get the driving mechanics accurate, and the absolute basic functionality of coaches (which is mostly intermediate stops).

Only if they aren't too long.
Not sure how much you can put in 6-7 seconds long cutscene.

Exactly. I'm not waiting 50 seconds for all the passengers to board and sit, no. Not when I'm driving long distances.

No no you have to sit through all of it. Previous passengers leaving. Taking their baggage. Ticket checking. New passengers putting baggage in baggage compartment. Boarding and sitting exactly on assigned seats. That includes people sitting on the inside row making space for people going to sit by the window.
It's all CRUCIAL for a barely immersive experience. Full 10 minutes long stop. Nothing less is acceptable.

Don't forget about waiting for the passengers to arrive at the Coach station/stop on other ways of transport (car, bicycle, scooter) or on foot, that's VERY important for true immersion!
