It said 4.5 meter. My guess is that is the clearance that trailer needs, as 4.4 is max height in Sweden. Good with a reminder about that to the driver. Too many trucks end up stuck under bridges :P
If you look closer on some 13.6m trailers on the front you will also see coupling height for the fifthwheel written too typical on "loose" trailers that swap trucks alot ;)

Maybe the people there wish to have some traction in winter times?

Doesn’t distributing weight across more wheels actually reduce traction? I think it has more to do with limited per-axle weight.

6x4 are better for heavy cargoes which is more common in Scandinavia as well they are better for driving in snow or in bad weather. So I don't understand why some people are suprised

Yeah but are worse aesthetically, can't install side skirts on those.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice aesthetic if you want to haul some cargoes. MAN TGX is the example

If I had to pick between not being able to install sideskirts and not being able to remove them, I'd choose the former, hands down, every time.

I had it. At full horsepower it had no issues hauling anything apart from special transport things (cuz I didn't try). And yes with just two four (technically six) wheels touching the ground.
