Re: SCS General Nonsense Thread
The new interiors are also a fairly recent addition, so they're still in the early stages.
That said, I completely agree with you about the suspended cabs. The same goes for the loading and unloading features they started introducing—we haven't really heard anything about them or seen any updates since.
As for JOST, I was under the impression that it had already been implemented across all trucks, hadn't it ?
One thing I didn't quite understand from the blog, though: what exactly is being reworked this time ?

According to the wiki there is 5 trailers, one of which is low loader. Thats the one being upgraded in this update.Ludo Diabolo wrote: 18 Jul 2026 16:35 The new interiors are also a fairly recent addition, so they're still in the early stages.

Re: SCS General Nonsense Thread
Thanks for the clarification !
By the way, what exactly is going to be reworked on the lowboy trailer ? The blog post is very short and rather vague on that point, unless I've misunderstood something.

Re: SCS General Nonsense Thread
The whole trailer is getting reworked from scratch.
As soon as 1.59 and 1.60 were released within a month, that went out the window, i expect at least 6 patches this year.Aziz wrote: 18 Jul 2026 15:57 You know they said they aim for 4 patches per year. .61 would be the 4th.

Re: SCS General Nonsense Thread
Thanks for the explanation ! So this is a complete rebuild from scratch.
Has SCS ever completely reworked a trailer from one of their trailer DLCs before, or is this a first ?

Re: SCS General Nonsense Thread
Honestly, no idea. I only remember SCS announcing the begin of the process of updating them to real JOST, but I don't remember them ever announcing the finish. If they did update all trucks, they seem to have done it quietly.Ludo Diabolo wrote: 18 Jul 2026 16:35 As for JOST, I was under the impression that it had already been implemented across all trucks, hadn't it ?
Another "half-done" thing I remembered is that we still can't own some types of the trailers, like car haulers.
I understand it as "SCS have reworked the entire trailer model, but only one for now". Because from what I see on screenshots, it's quite different from the current model.Ludo Diabolo wrote: 18 Jul 2026 16:35 One thing I didn't quite understand from the blog, though: what exactly is being reworked this time ?
I'm pretty sure they did that to Schwarzmüller's logging trailer, and/or tankers.Ludo Diabolo wrote: 18 Jul 2026 16:56 Has SCS ever completely reworked a trailer from one of their trailer DLCs before, or is this a first ?

JOST wheels have been added to every truck added or reworked after 1.45, excluding DAFs.

Re: SCS General Nonsense Thread
Great to see that the excavator in turned the right way NOT. Come on SCS, you have to wake up. Driving like that in real life would end up in accidents. Just imagine going downhill and a sharp turn, the whole combo would go straight forward with no weight on the truck

Re: SCS General Nonsense Thread
You can learn a lot from SCS driving a truck ie how not to do cargo handling
