@rookie_one

I was going to say the same thing about DNA. I can even tell you that I am certain that what was shown in the Christmas stream, signed and put under DNA well before the stream and in agreement with the brands, we can even assume that it is the brand itself that selects what can be shown or not, I am sure of it ;) And it's nothing new that SCS does this, so you're wasting your breath :D

Remember the noise the MAN TGX made when SCS showed us the progress and what they could show, and that it didn't come out quickly enough in the eyes of the players because, according to the photos showing the progress in the blogs, the players saw it finished in the game, so for them it was finished and had to be released.

The problem is what some content, paid or free to developers is very exciting or some group of people on scs forum that doesn't mean is exciting for quite big fraction of players. Most of the players are not daily players. They play regularly but not that much as quite a lot of people on scs forum. So they care about the big stuff. Not some paintjob, tuning pack. Map dlcs and juicy update content are thier priority. And unless some people here wont understand this. This war will continue and evolve to a absolute shit hole.

Wow, must’ve been exhausting for your eyebrow to do all that heavy lifting.
Hope it finds peace now that it’s reached the back of your head.
If reading was that strenuous, maybe take a break :D

Oh please :roll: . NDAs aren’t some magical gag order that erase all ability to communicate.
Plenty of devs manage to share progress, context, and timelines without violating a single clause.
SCS just chooses not to, and that’s fine, but let’s not pretend their hands are tied.
They’ve teased unfinished content before; they’ve talked around licensing before.
So when they go radio silent, it’s not always about legal limits.
It’s about control, and they’re using it.

When my ban on the forum ended, I wanted to leave the forum quietly, but in such a way that my account would be permanently and irreversibly deleted, but for that, the people from scs software would have to know how to reply to emails. What's the point of an email address if you write to them and they don't respond and they say #bestcomunnityever

The only best update in the case of ATS and ETS2 was when they added new light (1.40), improved the sound system (1.37 if I'm not mistaken) and added DX11 (I don't remember the update number) since then no real content, at most state reworks

They added the "new light", but left the traffic light weird, and broke the tail lights on some trucks/trailers

If only there were other games out there, wouldn’t that be wild?

But no, SCS is the only company that creates games and ETS2 and ATS are the only games that have ever been created. So we must impatiently wait every single day for content that they dare give us for free.

Now let me write 10 pages of comments to let everyone know that I have absolutely nothing else going on in my life and my existence depends on the release of a truck that I will drive for a week so I can then complain about the next truck.

Also I blame Nemiro for everything and he should be banished to accounting.

Nah, I don't believe the moderators will allow that to happen. People need to learn to control themselves as a mature adult which is very rare character trait these days it seems.

People really need to go see other games as well to see how they do their business, SCS simply could release a new game between 2-3 years, almost no new features or improvements and a bunch of DLC's no one cares and call it a day!

Guys, i'm speaking for myself here, i really like how SCS handle both of their games, so far few companies release a product and keep it updated for many years like ETS2 and ATS for free, and so far, their prices are very fair, even for me in a country with a weak currency. But yes, there are problems, most of them was discussed here several times. For me, the things i don't like are:

-So much time to release a new truck, or a reworked one - but this is more related to NDA stuff and agreements with their partners, so there's nothing we can do here;
-Releasing new stuff at all than more focus on rebuild the old stuff - but this is not viable for a company, they need to earn money, there's bills, paychecks and stuff, and it's ok. Consoles now it's a reality, and i don't know if SCS is going to release their games with old stuff like Going East or old models like the Iveco Stralis for consoles.

This is what i remember so far, but i'm not in a position to dislike it so much to complain in unbearable levels. I play this game regularly, and i'm still buying the products at release, specially maps. It's a nice game to relax, enjoy the scenery and see places you've never heard of, and of course, there will be always problems, but nothing that can break my experience.

And thanks to this post i could undestand more how a NDA works. Things are a lot clearer for me now.
