I feel the same way as you and have the same reaction
Yes, we've been waiting for this for a long time, that's true, but we knew it would happen eventually, so in my personal opinion, it's not enough to break the internet.

Re: SCS General Nonsense Thread
Honestly, I’m satisfied with just map DLCs and reworks. New features aren’t a priority for me right now, though I wouldn’t mind seeing them eventually, even if it takes years. Since both ETS2 and ATS are getting older, with the core of the game being quite dated, adding too much could make it feel overloaded and cluttered. While new features are exciting for many, I’m fine with the current direction as long as it keeps modernizing. They’ve updated the UI over the years, but more features would mean even more UI changes, which already feels overwhelming to me. I prefer a clear and simple layout where I don’t have to search for things. The current UI, with everything in selections, works fine, but I’d love an even simpler design. I think they’ve already adding new game features and gameplay like project road trip and driving coaches. Adding something like the ability to move around, get out of the truck, and free roam seems tough. It feels like they’ve implemented the best ideas to make the game unique. It’s not going to be like GTA or Sims, where you control a trucker role; they can make tweaks, but logically, it doesn’t make sense. At that point, they might as well just make a completely new game.

Re: SCS General Nonsense Thread
I really enjoy playing but sometimes, it makes me sleepy, so I'm used to watch youtube videos on my second screen at the same time.
That's why I"d like more features to simply have something to put my attention on. Map DLC are great but it's just more roads to drive on. New trucks are great because I like switching, look at various different dashboards and hear different engines, but yeah, it's just more vehicles to do the same thing lol.
I'd love to get more interactions, with the trucks, with the trailers, a more diverse and engaging gameplay. A reworked economy would be neat as well.

What if they are just making my mod official DLC?

As hilariously ironic as this looks, I think it's more likely this user is just an impersonator or fan. I'm skeptical that a semi-prominent professional clickbaiter YouTuber would make a forum account for the game they cover and have their first three posts be "I think it is related to the reconstruction of the UK.", "I wonder when they'll get it", and the post above. I would have expected some sort of boast, self-promotion, introduction, etc. Plus the forum has support for linking your socials to your profile and that user hasn't done that.Madkine wrote: 04 Oct 2025 10:54Says the person responsible for more outlandish rumours about what SCS are to release than anyone else. Fair enough, I thought I was the only one who did that, LOL. I’ve fallen asleep several times too. I’m not sure why this game makes me so sleepy, maybe because it’s so soothing and relaxing. Plus, staring at the computer screen definitely doesn’t help.

As expected, like clockwork on Pinktober. I do wish the trucks were updated on the photo headers because both of them are old (DAF XF 105 and 2013 Kenworth T680). Wouldn't a current FH or the 2021 T680 work as replacements?

Well now you've outted them, I might as well confirm it. Yes, we know it's not the real AP101 because they already have an account.oldmanclippy wrote: 04 Oct 2025 15:13 As hilariously ironic as this looks, I think it's more likely this user is just an impersonator or fan
I was waiting until Monday to chat with our SCS contact on whether it's time to ban the impersonators main account permanently given their egregious moderation count.
