What seemingly nobody can see, is that route advisor indeed was not flexible enough to contain everything that has now emerged in the interface. MFD can, they can make it as wide and as tall as they want with as many tabs as they need without interfering with other UI elements and still keep it readable. And all that is, without removing the view on the satnav, something the old one could never do. It's a step forward.

This is a stream i would watch, two game designers fighting each other on the Driving Academy module 2, oh boyoldmanclippy wrote: 13 Jun 2026 13:07 Almost feels like two designers are fighting for control behind the scenes.
I see it now in hindsight, but my hair was to slick at moment so it did slide right over my headSan_Sany4 wrote: 13 Jun 2026 14:47 I hoped my sarcasm in that message was so thick everyone would understand it is sarcasm.

MFD should be quite usable too, with either a wheel that have some control on it or a controller!Aziz wrote: 13 Jun 2026 15:34 What seemingly nobody can see, is that route advisor indeed was not flexible enough to contain everything that has now emerged in the interface. That will be interesting for sure!

It's a pity that you can't have YouTube on the screen in the truck like they did in Assetto Corsa

Haven't google it, but my simple guess is that playing anything on a screen that could take your eyes off the road is probably very forbidden in EU. Result: same thing in the game
