Stuttering 1.55 beta ATS

I still feel like I need to clarify that it's only been with 1.54 and beta 1.55 that I've had these issues at all. I've had this game since it launched, and all the way through 1.53 I never once had this problem anywhere on the map. I could understand if performance gradually decreased over the years that it probably meant my hardware was getting outpaced. But for it all to make such an about face so suddenly starting with 1.54 tells me that can't be the case.

Same here, huge performance problems with 1.55 @ RTX 4080 Super. Stuttering especially in newer areas...

What GPU are you using ?

GTX 1660ti, along with an I7-9700 and 32gb ram. Older, modest hardware to be sure, but up until 1.54 I've been able to achieve perfectly smooth gameplay on any part of the map with all graphic settings on high. I've tried turning down mirror resolution and all the other usual settings that get suggested, but it hasn't made a difference.

Agreed. Many graphics settings no longer affect performance, especially the scale is now meaningless. As far as I understand, this happened after 1.50.

over next few days we will monitor situation as more players may have opportunity to test it over upcoming weekend.

small reminder. please post your game log from run where you encountered such frame pacing problems.
its kinda hard to draw any conclusion without data.
im not asking to post game log from every single run. just one per user is fine.

currently we do not register such problems internally. so we are on lookout for more isolated / specific reasons why some players experience such change / problem.

what you can try now.
any mods/plugins? try to disable them.

3rd party overlays. try to disable any 3rd party overlays like discord, rivatuner etc...

game optimized Settings / application performance/gfx profiles. usually provided via gpu driver sw package. try to disable any game specific optimization.

Launch parameters, are you using any launch parameters which tune gfx/engine/memory ? try to remove them.

also try to reset game configuration options. in "Documents" you will find game folder. in here you can rename "config.cfg" so with next game run new with safe/default values will be generated. they you can try to change settings using ingame options to your preference.

So updated to 1.55 open beta on Ets2 and still stuttering - there has been many more reports of 40 series nvidia cards having this problem - this really need to be sorted by scs i have spent so much money on these games - here is my latest log file for Ets2 open beta 1.55

Weird. I have the Open Beta on 1.55 for ETS 2 and max settings, and the FPS locked to 65. I am getting a smooth 65fps. On ATS I also have the Beta, the exact same settings as ETS 2, and my fps locked to 65, and I’m getting stuttering. I have 4060.

What I found that worked for me, was to uninstall the game, and delete the folder that is in Documents. Then reinstall directly to the Beta. Do NOT, upgrade from 1.54 to 1.55. This seems to have worked for me. I have a 4060.
