Re: Stuttering 1.55 beta ATS
Have you tried deleting ETS2 and ATS Nvidia profiles and creating One new Nvidia Profile for both games, the 2 old Original Nvidia profiles is Old and so different in settings if you look in Nvidia Inspector, it makes no sense they are not the same since SCS have stated both games is the same at its core and is constantly updated from SCS while the profiles from Nvidia is not. Could be worth a try. For me it works with one profile for both games, smooth.

Re: Stuttering 1.55 beta ATS
How many different overlays are you using
If you can remove those unused as combined they put quite a strain on the performance thus reducing FPS

Re: Stuttering 1.55 beta ATS
Hi Dazraz,
I´m not taking part in the beta test but I checked out your gamelog and found some things that you could try to change to increase overall performance:
1. Increase buffer page size (30 to 50 instead of 10)
2. Set "steam_rich_presence" to 0
3. Set "g_save_indicator" to 0
4. Set "limit_fps" to 60
5. Set "averaging_window_duration to 60 (your FPS-limit)
6. Set "averaging_window_length" to 120 (double the FPS-limit)

Re: Stuttering 1.55 beta ATS
So after 1.55 has finally been released the stuttering is still present and i really have to call it a day now i have tried every possible setting and reduced setting and nothing works - i have spent a huge amount of money on both these games and really feel scs need to update their outdated engine but until then its game over for me
Thanks for nothing !

Please try one last thing, worked for me, no mods, except sound, disable Vsync in the in game settings + the 2 FPS sliders down to a 0. force vsync on from nvidia conrolpanel and game profile + If not using gsync set monitor refresh rate to 60 in change resolution.

Re: Stuttering 1.55 beta ATS
Well, when I hopped into 1.55 at the final release (I skipped all the beta's) - what I can instantly say is that it got much better than 1.54 for me (I remember dying from stutters before 1.55 - but now I don't, at least, way less), so they really did something good. I'm riding a 170 hz g-sync monitor, and my fps still drops in cities from 160-170 to kind of 110-130, but surely it's not that noticeable
Yes it's still stuttering, but I guess it needs other kinds of updates, maybe dx12, maybe prism3d stuff... Anyways, there's already good progress, and I think we should give SCS a chance
At least now I keep on hope. The game's pretty much playable currently (for me), and I'm not gonna miss it, especially the upcoming Iowa
Thanks SCS!
P.S. RTX 4060Ti (latest drivers), Ryzen 5 8400F, 32 Gb RAM, WIn 11 (with latest updates also), game's on NVMe
