Vertex painting on glass with vcoloring

#1 Post by RLlonline » 29 Jun 2025 19:16

I'm building a car, where 1 of the windows needs to have a specific color, (red) as I saw in an original SCS model, it is possible to make this color by vertex painting, apparently I can make the desired color, but when I put the mod in the game, only this glass turns dark gray, where am I going wrong?

vertex paint is indeed only for darkening as you wrote.

coloring the glass is done by the material settings trough the tint vallue's

for a frontshield folie , I used
for a red
tint : { 0.45 , 0.0 , 0.0 }

play with the values

for green
tint : { 0.0 , 0.45 , 0.45 }
blue
tint : { 0.0 , 0.0 , 0.45 }
It dosn`t need to be 0.0 or 0.45 any other value will work.
