@agiar2000 - It's possible to ace this scenario without a blind side reverse at all.

Frankly, I would feel embarrassed to even try it this way, but I have to admit it is quite an impressive maneuvering. Still, proper backing has more space for error than this approach, but the problem is visibility

I watched SabreCat and Oldman Vampire do this multiple times, and I still have no clue where I am going wrong or what I need to do differently in order to pull off that first reverse into that little spot adjacent to the starting position.

That's simple offset backing, blind side. You just need to end up roughly in the middle between the barriers and the trailer, closer to barriers maybe, so you can clear the trailer when turning left.

Also another advice, if you hit something and fail the scenario, don't exit to restart right away - continue to the end, practicing other turns. This way when you are through the problem turn finally, you won't feel overstressed about following turns.

@rookie31st - Thank you! I wanted to provide an alternative approach that would more consistently necessitate less than 3 direction changes.

So I decided on this way at least for achieving all the stars, since time is more lenient in this scenario as opposed to the direction changes.

And of course doing this forwards allows extra guidance from the blind spot sensor which may help some players, although in my case I did not really need it

I am truly amazed that anyone can find this one "not too hard". I spent about an hour on this one today, and I only managed the very first reverse turn, the "alley back" part, twice. I still have no idea how I did it those two times, as every attempt I have made for the last 20 minutes or so has resulted in hitting the truck on my left side while trying to back up. I watched SabreCat and Oldman Vampire do this multiple times, and I still have no clue where I am going wrong or what I need to do differently in order to pull off that first reverse into that little spot adjacent to the starting position. Those couple of times I got past the first reverse turn, I found the next reverse turn also incomprehensible. There are so many trucks in the way all over the place, and I do not see how to keep track of everything and get the angles just right. As much as I have accomplished so far, I am starting to wonder if I will ever be able to accomplish Early Bird. I am going to keep trying for now, though. Maybe things will go better tomorrow.

Think I may of described this a bit wrong, the actual maneuver is offset backing, but given that it was something that I have practiced a lot IRL when getting my actual CDL (The California DMV test for it in the skills test) it was a lot easier for me than usual. But IIRC I think I just made sure when pulling forward, I was set up slightly angled so that the backup into the space is easier.

The turn into the other spot takes at least 1 additional change of direction to make it cleanly.

I employed one of my most powerful techniques: to turn my brain off and on again. I think that is why it is good for me to only attempt these for an hour each day. After sleeping and coming back to this today, the first reverse turn in Early Bird made so much more sense, and with a bit more practice, I was finally able to ace this penultimate scenario! On to Twisted!

Twisted is such a long course with such a tight time limit, I know it is going to take me quite a while to get through it, but I have already managed to make it to the 3rd waypoint (the first one after picking up the trailer) once so far, and I think that doing so will become more consistent over time. That offset backing that follows still eludes me, though. I do not quite see a way to get the angle right so that I can slip through without rolling right over the forward-most cone behind the opening on my way back. I will have to look up some videos and see what I can figure out there. At least the final parking is generously simple!

I saw some people using top-left (on your pic) space. Apparently it's easier to pull forward to the left without hitting other trucks, but then you have a challenge to do blindside reversing, plus the time limit is quite pushing. Though I (in ETS2) managed to do it your way.

There is still a good opportunity to miss the perfect position. If you're lucky, you have one correction at the end, though you may waste it by accidentally rolling on the slope, which makes this scenario even more frustration. (Again, judging by ETS2 version).

@agiar2000 - Twisted is a hectic scenario for getting all stars. I have a different approach to the Oldman Vampire which might be helpful to you, since I spend a bit more time watching the cones on that offset backing.

As long as you can be consistent in reaching the offset backing part in good time, I think you can manage this. The important part about the offset backing is to keep an eye on these two cones I have circled, and you should eventually be able to make a turn full lock left to avoid the front cone.

One tiny thing that helped me here was adjusting my angle as I was driving forward in that set me up for the reverse, I used the International LT for this one.
