Hi @Drive Safely.
I was mostly asking about initial U-turn which was recommended here (to avoid blindside jackknifing at the beginning).
Regarding this challenge in general: I've managed to pass it using Pete 389 even with only one direction change (I must admit I was lucky and highly relying on one extra correction I had).
Tips from my side:
- as mentioned many times, try to come to the last corner as close as possible (this you totally missed in your Peterbilt attempt, which costed you at least one star)
- Notice that there is enough "opportunity" to oversteer at that corner. You don't need to turn all the way. When yu figure out the "right amount of turn", cones on your right-hand side should not be an issue
- Beware the pole, note that you'll still have some space to do some correction after you've done passing behind the pole
- If the end position was not good enough, my plan was to use space on the right of the pole for the correction. It worked pretty well for me during attempts failed for other reasons and seems like it worked for you.

@gagar - Well done on that and thanks for the tips!
The reason I recommend the International LoneStar is because of the simplicity to replicate doing the scenario in one direction change, so you have an extra correction if required.
I did follow your tips and managed to demonstrate achieving all stars with the Peterbilt 389. And yes, it's capable of making the initial U-turn without problems, too.
The space on the right of the pole is indeed very useful for making a correction.

Managed to pass Scatterbrained with 3 stars on Peterbilt 389. I did the reversing with trailer at the very beginning, unlike most: like here (except the guy does strange maneuvers at the end.
Noticed that in tight time limit I mostly try to follow the nose of the truck, while doing wild-guessing on passenger side (there is just not enough time to turn your head using mouse). Ended it having 3:00 on the timer, but the star wasn't lost (apparently the limit is 3:00.99 or smth like that).
Hard to imagine I can complete it in time "normal way", with more trailer attachments/detachments rather than trying to squeeze between parked trailer and barriers, but maybe that way I could do quicker driving.
I'm not quite sure but squeezing part was easier than in ETS (even though in ETS I did it in 2:58!), perhaps the alley is a bit wider (or maybe I managed to get some experience walking through all the exercises).

Re: Truck Driving Proficiency Tips/Guidance
Dirt Rodeo was the one I finally gave up Pete 389 on. Switching to Volvo made me reliably get to the final cone chicane almost every time and I've managed to master passing through it. Didn't get even close to passing this chicane on Pete. I ended up hitting cones both in front of me and on the left of my trailer
Even doing "right" things I've figured out with Volvo (mostly setting the trailer angle before entering the chicane) didn't help a lot. Plus the success rate of even getting there without hitting anything was quite low. I guess, I'll proceed with Volvo now.
