Mack Anthem Black Edition — messed up paintjob from Steampunk DLC [254283]

The skin "Age of Steam" from Steampunk Paint Jobs Pack DLC is broken on the sideskirts of Black Anthem Edition.

On the regular chassis, the paintjob looks correctly.

Quote removed - Don't quote images - Rule 2.3

This happens with all paint/skins packages, but you'll be surprised when they respond (if you're lucky) with a possible solution to avoid this bug xD That's all I can say, since several users have noticed this in the past.

Old thread, I know, but with no sign of this having been fixed (as of 1.55) I figured I'd provide a possible workaround.

Unless, for some odd reason, the Black Edition sideskirts use a different UV map than the regular ones then this is a ridiculously easy fix, although it can be quite tedious.

This line:

Code: Select all

acc_list[]: "sideskirt.lng117_bl"
needs to be added wherever this line exists in a paint job accessory file (don't replace it):

Code: Select all

acc_list[]: "sideskirt.lng117_p"
That tells the game that the accessory should use an alternate mask instead of defaulting to the main one. From what I can tell that line isn't even in the accessory files for the paint jobs included with the Anthem...
