We had blogs all but one day this week as the usual battle rhythm seems to be back in full force of 4-6 blogs per. There was lots of map news this week, with South Dakota, Project Benelux, Illinois, and Coaches receiving dev blogs. We also had the wrap up for the Cruising Nordic Horizons event.

Tuesday (3rd): No blog post
Wednesday (4th): South Dakota: Road Network
Thursday (5th): Project Benelux Rework: Eindhoven + DAF Trucks Facility
Friday (6th): Illinois: Water Bodies
Saturday (7th): Cruising Nordic Horizons Event Conclusion
Sunday (8th): Coaches: Volvo 9700 Double Decker

Next weekly post: Sunday, February 15.

As always, please let me know if I missed something!

Blog Summary for February 16-22, 2026

Apologies for being late again...as I've been recently taking a break from simming in general, I just haven't been thinking about these weekly posts. Though I think I'm ready to come back to it!

There were 6 new blog posts this week.

Iceland returns to the blog post scene! The upcoming map expansion DLC got a blog post on Saturday, the first in a few months. We also got a post about Groningen, which will be redone as part of the Benelux Rework.

For the most part, there were a lot of behind-the-scenes blogs this week. We got an SCS on the Road, an interview with Davido, who is the lead mapper for the upcoming British Columbia DLC for American Truck Simulator, and a Meet the Team blog for the UK Rework for England and Wales.

SCS also released a special blog post on Friday about the new Route Advisor, which of course recieved mixed reviews from my observations. (Personally, I don't have an opinion about it, as I haven't touched 1.58 yet, haha)

Monday (16th): Benelux Rework: Groningen
Tuesday (17th): No blog post
Wednesday (18th): SCS on the Road: Volvo Construction Equipment Customer Center
Thursday (19th): Building British Columbia with Davido
Friday (20th): The New Route Advisor: Why and How It’s Evolving
Saturday (21st): Iceland: Nature - Coastline
Sunday (22nd): UK Rework: Meet the Team - England + Wales

Next weekly post: On or after Sunday, March 1. The February wrap-up should also be around that time too.

As always, please let me know if I missed something!

Blog Summary for the Month of February, 2026

There were 22 total blog posts for February 2026, bringing 2026's yearly total to 39, not including this month's blogs.

American Truck Simulator celebrated 10 years on February 2nd, and the game got some nice new features with the 1.58 update, which included the rework along one of the most famous highways in the United States, Route 66. ETS2 got some new goodies as well, including an update to the Renault T. Hands down, the biggest change between both games was with the route advisor, as the little window that resides in the lower right hand corner got a major facelift.

All upcoming Map DLCs got at least one blog post in February. Iceland recieved its first post in a few months, and ATS got it's very first blog post for British Columbia (not including the introductory one). We also met the teams--that's right, teams--working on the UK rework, which includes a new familiar face if you've ever used ProMods. One new cargo pack DLC released for both ATS and ETS2 in February (Bobcat Cargo Pack).

The annual Valentine's event took place during the second half of the month, beginning around when 1.58 released and ending on March 1.

We’ll see.

5-6 per week is substantial, but we’re still early in the year!

Blog Summary for March 9-15, 2026

There were 3 new blog posts this week.

We got a very nice surprise on Saturday with the Illinois gameplay preview, a nearly 40-minute video which showcased the drive from Quincy to Chicago--going virtually across the state from the it's western border with Missouri and ending at the shores of Lake Michigan.

Other than that...news was light this week. We got to meet the team working on the Isle of Ireland DLC (which consists of most of the team working on the Benelux rework), and an SCS on the Road post documenting their trip to the Bobcat Manufacturing Plant in Dobříš, Czechia.

Monday (9th): No blog post
Tuesday (10th): Isle of Ireland: Meet the Team
Wednesday (11th): No blog post
Thursday (12th): SCS on the Road: Bobcat Manufacturing Plant Tour
Friday (13th): No blog post
Saturday (14th): Illinois: Gameplay Preview
Sunday (15th): No blog post

Next weekly post: On or after Sunday, March 22.

As always, please let me know if I missed something!
