Would be good to play it on there but if it can’t then am happy to start from scratch treat it like a new game except it’s on consoleLegoTechnicFanBoi wrote: 19 Aug 2025 22:35 maybe it will be clear when ETS2 and ATS gets released on consoles

I have never heard of a game capable of doing it. Normally the answer is connected to the complexity between platforms... Besides, it takes no time to gain 11 levels, buy a truck or 2 and begin building a slave empire.CarbonGTGaming wrote: 19 Aug 2025 19:12 just thought I ask since ETS2 and ATS are coming to Console anyone who has played the game on PC can we transfer our save games over to the console for starters would be cool to experience it if not it’s ok I don’t mind starting from scratch on the Xbox

Re: Can save profiles from the PC version be ported to Console
Certain Microsoft /Xbox games have this functionality, that syncs cloud saves between PC and Xbox. It goes even further with the 'play anywhere' games. When you purchase them from the Microsoft store, you can play them on PC and Xbox. Buy once, play many.
I believe Sony has some games with the cloud save functionality as well. But like Microsoft with a Microsoft account you need to sync stuff with a Sony account.
It remains to be seen how SCS will deal with this.

9800X3D (5800X3D till 7/25), RTX4080S (RTX3080 till 7/24), Varjo Aero 37 PPD (native OpenXR since 1.50), 32GB DDR6000, Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB, Win11. No mods! Like drugs they may seem fun at first, but it'll ruin more than you care for...

It's quite a common thing to do these days. Generally, the developer needs to provide a platform-agnostic "cloud" save mechanism of some kind, if the game itself isn't primarily online. A good example:Brulikrax wrote: 11 Sep 2025 21:00 I have never heard of a game capable of doing it. Normally the answer is connected to the complexity between platforms...

Personally, I wouldn't mind starting over either, but having the option to import a profile would be really nice for players with hundreds or even thousands of hours invested. The biggest issue is probably mods, map DLC combinations and version differences between PC and consoles. Even if full save transfers are not possible, maybe SCS could allow some sort of progress sync through World of Trucks, like preserving levels, money or owned garages. Plenty of games now support cross progression, so it's not impossible. I guess we'll have to wait and see how deep the console versions go. Either way, starting a fresh company on Xbox could be fun too and would give everyone a reason to experience the game again from the beginning.

@XanderMorris WOT currently does not have any details from your save games (it is a record of all your trips from all your profiles that are linked to WOT). While it is possible SCS could change this, it seems an unlikely change in time for console launch.
