Added to my wish list, something new for a change

Also a lot of new transport simulation games are popping up
Looking forward

Reminds me of RignRoll, which had a small map, some older trucks and side story line. Will be interesting to see more, but i have a feeling people, especially in the youtube comments, are expecting too much.
I love snowrunner and roadcraft from these devs...

Story driven is possible and can be a turn off for some. Small map can be a turn off as well as inaccuracies. But for some people....all that might not even matter as it gives them a change if pace without having to go off road driving.

I recall missions/contracts talk for ATS and people was all for. If Road Kings is doing missions/contracts, RK is shunned upon. If SCS goes missions, that's pure bias. Why not encourage health competition. Obviously the market for virtual trucking is growing.

I don't see where Road Kings is shunned upon because of its mission/contract based gameplay. it's only considered a major difference, nothing more nothing less.

@Quark Shunned on because people keep saying its not a competitor. You have to ask the people that are already knocking RK that question.

One thing i'm curious about it's the scale of the map, and how they'll do compared to SCS in map detail.

But, if it's made in Unreal it's a big turn off to me.

Same about Rig'n'Roll.
I really liked the story driven part, and the competition against other drivers, even if it was more fun than realistic. But the gameplay and truck physics was pure garbage sadly.
So if Road Kings offers that competition side and story driven missions, it might hit a good spot for me, but the gameplay and truck physics have to be really good.

Driving with heavier payloads affected our truck’s handling, resulting in longer braking distances and making us more likely to make mistakes. If you run over a pothole with a full load, you can even get a tyre puncture. Damage to components like the brake pads can be monitored, though turning on the engine brake can help reduce wear on the brakes.

Interesting read. Thanks for the link. Definitely more Sim geared than what SCS brings us. Everything that SCS does not have RK does. Solid chance RK won't have things that SCS does.

Off the bat, RK starts with multi drop, wear and tear, weigh stations fines for being overloaded, time management. The devs for RK definitely studied SCS fans on everything they been looking for.
